A calm, softly lit corner with a comfortable chair

Welcome

A steady, unhurried place to do the work

Reaching out for therapy takes courage — and finding the right person to sit with matters. My practice is a calm, judgment-free space where you can slow down, feel understood, and gently untangle what's been weighing on you.

I specialize in trauma and use approaches like EMDR and somatic (body-based) therapy alongside talk therapy, so we can work with how stress lives in both your thoughts and your body. There's no rushing here. We move at your pace.

A little about me

Hi, I'm so glad you found your way here

I'm a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in trauma. Before we ever get to the deeper work, my priority is simple: that you feel safe, unhurried, and genuinely met. I believe healing happens in relationship — so that's where we begin.

I'm trained in EMDR and draw on somatic and attachment-focused approaches, because the hard things we carry live in the body as much as the mind. Whatever you're bringing, you don't have to have it all figured out to start.

What I can help with

Support for the things that feel heavy

Whether it's a specific event you can't move past or a fog you can't quite name, we'll work with it together.

Trauma & PTSD

Single events, ongoing or childhood trauma, and the ways the past keeps showing up in the present.

Anxiety & overwhelm

Racing thoughts, worry, panic, and that always-on feeling of being braced for the next thing.

Depression & low mood

Heaviness, numbness, and losing touch with the things that used to feel like you.

Life transitions

Big changes — career, identity, relationships, becoming a parent, loss — and the disorientation they bring.

Grief & loss

Mourning a person, a relationship, a version of your life, or a future you expected.

Self-worth & burnout

The inner critic, people-pleasing, and running on empty long past the point of exhaustion.

For trauma that still feels present

EMDR: relief without reliving every detail

EMDR is a well-researched therapy for trauma and distressing memories. When something overwhelming happens, the brain can get 'stuck' storing that memory with all of its original emotion, and it keeps firing as if the event were still happening. Using gentle, guided back-and-forth eye movements (or taps or tones), EMDR helps your brain finish processing the memory so it can settle into the past — where it belongs. You stay grounded and in control the whole time. Many people find real relief without having to talk through every painful detail.

Getting started

Reaching out is the hardest part

Here's exactly what it looks like to begin — no surprises, no pressure.

01

A free consultation

We start with a free 15-minute call so you can share a little about what's bringing you in, ask questions, and get a feel for whether we're a good fit. No pressure, no commitment.

02

Your first session

Our first full session is about getting to know you and your goals — gently, at your pace. You never have to relive anything you're not ready to. We'll map out where you'd like to go together.

03

The ongoing work

Most people meet weekly to start. We'll regularly check in on how things feel and adjust the approach so therapy keeps serving you — and celebrate the progress along the way.

Whenever you're ready, I'm here

Start with a free 15-minute call. No commitment — just a chance to see if we're the right fit. I usually reply within one business day.
